We’re based over in Wadala, specifically at the Shilpin Center on G.D. Ambekar Road. Our units are 102 and 104, so we take up a fair bit of room on that floor. Wadala is always crowded, and the road outside is usually packed with trucks and cars, especially during peak hours. Inside, it’s a different story. We focus on packaging systems, so there are always half-finished machines sitting around. Some days it feels like we’re tripping over spare parts and bubble wrap. The office isn't anything special, just some desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at diagrams. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get things moving. The light in the Shilpin Center is actually quite good in the afternoons, which helps when you’re looking at small mechanical bits. We get our lunch from the local places nearby, and sometimes we just eat while we work. It’s a steady environment without much drama. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just want to make sure the packing machines we send out are solid. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it seems to work for us and the people we deal with. We've stayed in Wadala because it just makes sense for our daily operations.
