Down in Kandivali West, at Plot No-221 in Charkop Sector-6, that’s where Sasken Networks Engineer Ltd is located. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and being at No 30 means we’re right in the middle of everything. We handle a lot of the technical network engineering stuff that people around the district need. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place to store our tools and meet up before heading out to a site. It can get pretty loud outside with the street noise, but we’re used to it. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of layers of management. It’s just us, working on projects and making sure things are wired up correctly. We’ve had some long days here, especially during the monsoon when getting around Mumbai becomes a challenge. We mostly just focus on getting the work done. If a job comes in from Charkop or somewhere nearby, we just grab what we need and go. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or anything like that. People find us because we’ve been here for a while and they know we do a decent job with the equipment. It’s just local guys doing technical work in a busy neighborhood, trying to keep things moving. We usually leave the door open for a breeze when it gets too stuffy inside.
