Our office is tucked away in 81/ D, inside the S D F 3 building over in SEEPZ. If you know Andheri East, you know it gets quite hectic around here, especially during the morning rush on Sangam Press Road. Sarto Electro Equipment Pvt Ltd is basically a group of us working among a lot of tools and parts. It’s an industrial area, so there is always some noise from the neighboring units or trucks moving stuff in and out. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the equipment to worry about that. We have been in this part of SEEPZ for a good bit of time. The security at the gate can be a bit strict, so getting visitors in takes a minute. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the technical side of things. It’s dusty sometimes because of all the construction nearby, but that’s just part of being in this sector. Our desks are covered in papers and small components. We take our breaks at the small stalls nearby for some quick snacks. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We don’t have a lobby with fancy plants or anything like that. Just workstations and the smell of machinery. It’s a long day usually, starting early to beat the traffic and staying until the sun goes down. We just keep the wheels turning and handle the orders as they come in.
