Sarku Engineering Services

Our office is in B-24 of the Sadbhavana CHS, right in the Deonar Municipal Colony in Govandi. It’s a typical Mumbai neighborhood, very crowded and always something happening on the street outside. We’ve been doing engineering services from this location for a good while. It’s not a huge space, just a few rooms where we keep our tools, some test equipment, and our computers. The Sadbhavana society is a busy place with families living all around us, so we try to keep the noise down, though that's hard when we have metal parts to move. Being near the municipal colony means we are right in the thick of the city's daily grind. We spend a lot of time on site, but this is where we come back to do the planning and the boring paperwork. The walls are covered with old calendars and some technical charts we’ve had for years. We drink a lot of tea while we argue over drawings and project specs. It’s a small group of us here. We don't wear suits; it's mostly jeans and work shirts because we’re always getting into something messy or dusty. Govandi has its challenges with the traffic and the rain during monsoon, but we’re used to it. We just focus on getting the engineering specs right for the client. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. We just do the work and hope it holds up.
