Saraogi Hospital

Our place is inside Khetan Apartment, right across from the telephone exchange on S V Road. Being in Malad West, it's always crowded outside. The hospital has been here in this building for many years. It's not a standalone tower, just a floor that we’ve converted for medical use. We have beds for patients who need to stay and a small area for those just visiting. The elevator can be a bit slow during peak hours, so some people just take the stairs. It’s a busy environment. Nurses move back and forth, and the smell of cleaning supplies is always there. We deal with all sorts of medical cases. Since we are right on S V Road, we get people coming in from all over the area. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a lobby with fountains or anything like that. Just a counter where you sign in and some benches to sit on. The doctors have their small offices where they talk to patients. We try to keep the noise down, but it’s hard with the traffic sounds coming from the street. It’s a real place where real work happens. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the people living in the apartments above us. It’s part of the community here. We just keep things moving one day at a time. It might be a bit cramped inside, but we make it work for everyone who walks through the front door.
