You can find us in the Ganga Vihar building at 94, Kazi Syed Street. This is a very busy trading district, so there are always people and carts moving about. Our office is on one of the floors of this old building. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the files and the samples we keep. Saral Chem Industries Pvt. Ltd. has been at this address for a long time, and the place feels lived-in. There are stacks of old ledgers in the corner and the desks are cluttered with papers. Kazi Syed Street is never quiet; you can always hear the shouting of the loaders and the honking of the trucks. We don't have a corporate look. We just wear what’s comfortable and focus on the chemical trade. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the shipments are moving as they should. The building doesn't have the best ventilation, so it can get a bit stuffy in the summer months. We just keep the fans on and keep working. We don't have a big mission statement or any fancy slogans. We are just a group of people trying to manage a business in a very crowded and hectic part of the city. We have our tea together in the afternoon and talk about the day's work. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place.
