Sarah Impex

Sarah Impex is located over on Ismail Curtay Road, right in the Ahmed Building. We are on the first floor, which is nice because we don’t have to wait for the lift when we’re in a hurry, though the stairs can be a bit steep if you’re carrying a heavy bag. The area around here is always packed with people and carts moving things around. It’s a very old part of the city, so things are a bit cramped, but there’s a lot of energy to it. Our office isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into this space. Most of the day is spent looking at shipping documents and talking to customers about their orders. It gets quite loud outside with all the honking and the shouting from the street vendors, but we’ve learned to ignore it mostly. We have a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, whether it’s filing or making the afternoon coffee. It’s a practical way to work, even if it gets a bit messy sometimes with all the paperwork piled up on the desks. We’ve been in this building for some time now and know the neighbors pretty well. It’s a simple operation, really. We just focus on getting the imports and exports sorted without making a big fuss about it. That’s just the way things are done on Ismail Curtay Road and we are used to it.
