Saraf Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is situated on the fifth floor of the Waterford building, specifically in the C Wing on Barfiwala Marg, which many people around here still call Juhu Lane. Being in Andheri West means it is always a bit chaotic outside with the traffic and people heading to the station. Our office is a bit quieter once you get inside. We deal with the administrative side of the chemical business from here. There are a few desks, lots of filing cabinets, and the constant sound of phones ringing or people typing away. It is mostly about coordinating shipments and talking to suppliers. We don't actually keep the chemicals here in the office, which is a good thing for the neighbors. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we know each other's habits pretty well. We usually take turns getting coffee or snacks from the shops downstairs. The elevator in this building can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, so some of us just take the stairs. It is a straightforward office job but it keeps us on our toes with all the regulations and paperwork. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking prices and talking to people at the ports. It’s a bit of a climb to get here, but it’s a good spot for us to manage the business.
