If you know Malad West, you know the Muncipal Bhaji Market. That is exactly where we are, at shop number 35. It is on Sainath Road, which stays crowded from early morning until late at night. The sound of people haggling over vegetables and the smell of fresh produce is just part of the daily routine at Sapna Art Jewellers. Our shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. The floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic over the years. It is quite a lively place to work. You have to shout sometimes just to be heard over the noise of the street. Being in a municipal market means there is always a lot of energy. We see all sorts of people passing by. The shop next to us sells spices, so we are always sneezing a little bit. It is a very honest way to work, right in the middle of the community. We don't have air conditioning that works all the time, so we keep the fans spinning fast. The display cases are old but they hold everything just fine. It’s a busy life here on Sainath Road. We open up early and usually stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s a practical location for a business that’s been part of the local scene for a long time.
