We are located at Bhuleshwar, specifically in Prithvi Arcade on Dr. Atmaram Merchant Road. Our shop is office number nine on the ground floor. If you know Bhuleshwar, you know how crowded it gets with all the gold shops and the narrow streets. It’s a lively area to work in. We handle gold here. The office is small and tucked away in the arcade. We open up early because that’s when the market starts moving. There is always a lot of tea drinking and talking with other shopkeepers around us. Our space is functional. We have a counter and some storage for our stock. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps things okay. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just buy and sell gold pieces. Sometimes people come in just to check the rates. We try to be helpful. The walls are a bit plain, maybe need a new coat of paint soon. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We know the regulars who walk past our door every day. Working in 103 Prithvi Arcade means being part of a very old trading tradition in Mumbai. We just focus on the gold and making sure the counts are right. It’s a busy life but we enjoy the energy of Bhuleshwar. There’s always someone shouting or a bell ringing from a nearby temple. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It is a basic setup but it works for us and our visitors.
