Kiarra Designs

We are located inside Chheda Arcade, which is at number 7. It is right there on S. V. Road in Santacruz West. It can be quite a mission to find parking around here, so most people just walk from the station or take an auto. Our shop is where we do all our design work and stitching. It is a small space, and honestly, it gets quite messy with all the fabric scraps and patterns lying around. We have a few sewing machines that make a lot of noise throughout the afternoon. Khira Nagar is a busy neighborhood, and we have been part of it for quite some time now. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us sitting here and working on different pieces. We don't use any fancy software for our designs; we mostly just draw them out on paper first. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and we take a short break to talk about the weather or the local news. The air conditioner in here is a bit old and rattles sometimes, but it keeps the heat away. We just try to do a decent job with every piece of clothing that comes across our tables. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing on small details. Santacruz West has its own rhythm, and we have just become part of it over the years.
