Siyas Designer Collection

Up on the third floor of Lucky Mansion in Vakola, things are a bit different than the street level. Our address is 302, and you have to come through Santacruz East to get here. Siyas Designer Collection isn't a big showroom with windows on the street. It’s more of a private space where we keep all our things. The building itself has seen better days, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is feeling moody, which happens more often than we’d like. Inside, we have racks of clothes and sewing machines tucked into the corners. It’s often a bit messy with scraps of thread and fabric on the floor. We stay busy with the measuring and the cutting. Vakola is a crowded place, so the noise from the traffic downstairs always drifts up through the windows. We like the light we get in the afternoons, though. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to keep up with the orders. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy. You just knock on the door of 302 and walk into the middle of whatever we are working on. It’s a bit cramped, but it’s our space and we’ve been here for years now. Most of our people find us by word of mouth anyway, so the location works for us.
