You can find Sanskiti Crafts India Pvt Ltd over in Malad West. We occupy the 3rd and 4th floors of Interface Building Number 7, which is tucked behind the Goregaon Sports Club. Being off the Malad Link Road means it's a bit of a trek through traffic to get here every morning. Our floors are usually full of different craft items and samples from all over. It’s not your typical quiet office. There are always boxes being moved around and people checking the quality of the handmade goods. We spend a lot of time communicating with the people who actually make these crafts. It’s a lot of back-and-forth to make sure everything looks right. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture; we mostly have large tables for looking at samples and rows of storage shelves. The team here is pretty close-knit. We’ve worked together for a long time now. We don't use big words or corporate slogans. We just talk about the materials and the deadlines. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a big order is being prepared for shipping, but we manage to get through it. The view from the windows is mostly just other buildings and the sports club. We try to leave the office on time so we can avoid the worst traffic.
