We are based at 16, Veena Industrial Estate. This is on LBS Marg in Vikhroli West. The estate is an old one, full of small factories and workshops. Sanobar Electronics & Ele. Pvt. Ltd. fits right in. Our space is usually a bit cluttered with wires, circuit boards, and old components. There is always a smell of solder in the air, which I’ve grown to like. We work on all sorts of electronic things. Sometimes it’s small repairs, other times it’s bigger electrical setups. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy. The stairs are narrow, and we are always hauling boxes up and down. Vikhroli is a busy hub, especially with the highway nearby. We have a small crew here. Most of us have been doing this for years. We don’t wear uniforms or have fancy titles. We just grab a stool and get to work on whatever is on the table. Occasionally, the power trips when too many machines are running in the estate, but we just wait for it to come back on. It’s part of the life here. We get a lot of walk-in customers from the surrounding area looking for help with a gadget or a part. We try to be helpful without making things too complicated. It’s a simple business, really. We fix things, we sell parts, and we try to keep the lights on.
