I have been working out of Office No 49 in Anand Bhavan for a while now. Being right here in Girgaon near Crawford Market means things are always busy outside. You can hear the noise from the street even from the office. It is just a small place where I handle my daily work. Most people know the building because it is a bit old but it stays cool inside. I usually get in early before the market gets too crowded. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard for people to reach, but we manage. I spend a lot of time on the phone or going through papers at my desk. It is not a big fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and my files piled up. If you are walking around Crawford Market, you might have passed the building without noticing. It has that old Mumbai feel to it. I have stayed here because it is central and everyone knows where the market is. My day is mostly about meeting people who stop by or finishing up tasks that need doing. It is quite simple really. I do not see the need for a huge office when this one works fine for what I do. Girgaon has changed a lot over the years but this corner feels the same. I just keep things moving and stay focused on the work at hand.
