The office is in 604, B Wing of Lok Vihar CHS in Andheri East. We are right opposite Nite, which is a pretty well-known landmark around here. Working out of a CHS gives the whole thing a much more residential and quiet feel compared to the big glass buildings on the main road. It’s a bit more peaceful, though the sounds of the neighborhood still filter in. Most days are spent at the desk handling whatever comes our way. Being in the B Wing means we get a bit of a breeze if the windows are open. Andheri East is such a hub of activity, but inside the society, things move a bit slower. People drop by for meetings or just to drop off papers. We don't have a big staff, so it’s usually just a few of us. We have a small pantry where we make tea. It’s a very simple, straightforward way to work. We aren't putting on a show for anyone. The building has been here for a while, and everyone knows each other. It’s nice to work in a place where you recognize the security guard and the neighbors. We just focus on getting the tasks done and keeping things organized. It’s a practical space for a practical kind of job. No fluff, just a desk, a chair, and plenty of work to keep the hours moving. It can get a bit repetitive, but there is always something that needs to be finished before the day ends.
