Sangeeni Beauty Parlour

Sangeeni Beauty Parlour is a small place located at Room 1 in Varthe Chawl. We are in the Old Mhb Colony on Gorai Road in Borivali West. It’s a very grounded, local area. If you look for Building No 26, we are right near there. Being in a chawl means everyone knows everyone. It’s a very tight-knit community. Our shop is just one room, but we’ve tucked everything in nicely. We have the essentials for hair and beauty work. It’s not a place for luxury, just a place for getting things done. We see a lot of the same people every week. They come in for a quick chat and a service. The floor is old but we sweep it constantly. Mumbai weather can be tough on the walls, so we try to touch up the paint when we can. We don’t have a big staff, usually just one or two of us. We do the threading, the hair oiling, and the facials. It’s simple work but we take it seriously. You won't find any polished brochures here. We just have a list of what we do on the wall. The door stays open most of the day to let the air in. It’s a practical shop for practical people. We’ve been part of this colony for years and we like it that way. It’s home to us.
