Sandhu Traders

Sandhu Traders is located at 22/23 Ganesh Bhavan on the first floor. We are right on Lamington Road, just across from the D.B. Marg Police Station. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, as anyone who’s ever been here knows. We deal in various electronic parts and components. Our space is usually filled to the ceiling with stock, so it can be a bit of a squeeze for everyone. We’ve been in this trade for a long time. It’s a family-run sort of feeling even though we have a few extra hands helping out. The street noise is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking prices and availability for different items for our customers. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know best. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us for years. We don’t have a website with all the bells and whistles; we prefer to just talk to people face to face. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall downstairs while we sort through new shipments. The lights in the shop could be a bit brighter, and the old fan makes a clicking sound, but it works fine. We’re just local traders trying to make an honest living in a competitive market. It’s a lot of manual counting and checking invoices. We like being in the heart of the electronics district.
