Sana Medical General Stores

We are located at shop number 744 on S G Barve Road in Khar. Specifically, we are in Sector 35 C, not too far from the Kaitenaz Hotel. This is a typical neighborhood general store and pharmacy. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, stuffed with everything from cough syrup to dish soap. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are in the shop at once. We spend most of our time standing behind the counter, looking up prescriptions or helping someone find a specific brand of shampoo. The street outside is always busy with people walking to the hotel or heading home. We see the same faces every day, which is nice. Sometimes the fans don't quite do enough to keep the heat out, but we stay open late into the evening because people always need something at the last minute. We don't have a computer system that does everything; we still do a lot of things by hand and keep a close eye on the stock. It’s a lot of work keeping track of the expiration dates and making sure we have the basics in stock. You can usually find us rearranging the display in the front window or checking the fridge for cold drinks. It’s just a simple shop serving the local community here in Khar, nothing more than that.
