Samudra chemicals Pvt Ltd is an office-based business in Santacruz West. We are located at 10th Cross, A 14, on the 2nd floor of Bhagwati CHS. It is a residential building so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main market area. We don't have a big factory or a lab here. It is just a small office where we handle the paperwork for chemical distribution. There are three of us working at old desks covered in files and ledgers. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to suppliers and arranging transport for the goods. It is a lot of coordination and checking numbers. We have been in Santacruz for quite some time now and we like the atmosphere of the 10th Cross area. We don't have a fancy corporate structure or any polished speeches about what we do. We just supply chemicals to businesses that need them. Sometimes the elevator in the building doesn't work and we have to take the stairs, which is good exercise I suppose. We keep a small kitchen area for tea and that is about as fancy as it gets. It is a straightforward business and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We work our hours and then we go home to our families. It is a steady pace most days and we just focus on making sure the orders are correct.
