We’ve been here at Babasaheb Kotkar Road in Goregaon East for quite a while now. If you know the 90 Feet Road area, you know how busy it gets around here. Our shop is at 10 Bhar, and it’s usually pretty loud with the sounds of work going on. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot, though the humidity always catches up by noon. We spend a lot of time dealing with various machine parts and metal stuff. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular engineering spot where we get things done. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or shavings, and there’s always a tea cup sitting somewhere on a workbench. People come by from the neighborhood, sometimes just to ask for a small fix or to check on an order. We’ve seen the road outside change over the years, more cars and more noise mostly. Being in Goregaon means there’s always something happening nearby. We just stay focused on the work at hand. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, but that’s just how it goes. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It’s just us here working through the pile of jobs we have for the week. It stays pretty cramped with all the equipment, but we know where everything is. It’s a basic setup that works for what we do every day.
