Samira Engineering Works

Our place is at Savla Chambers, specifically Office Number 3. It's a bit of a trek if you're coming from the main road, but once you get into the Fort Kalina area, it’s easier to spot. We do a lot of engineering work here, mostly small parts and repairs that people bring in. The office isn't huge, but we make sure there is enough room for the tools and the blueprints we use every day. It gets pretty dusty sometimes with all the work going on, but that is just how it is in this trade. We've been in this spot for a while now. The building is older, so you might hear the neighbors' radio or the sound of the traffic outside quite clearly throughout the day. It’s a tight-knit community in this building. We often end up sharing news with the guys next door during our breaks. It’s not the most modern setup you’ll see, but it works for what we do. We usually start early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. By mid-afternoon, it can get a bit stuffy, so we keep the fans running at full speed. People stop by to talk about their projects, and we just sit around the main desk to figure things out together. No big meetings, just practical talk. If you miss the turn, you'll end up circling around Kalina for ages, so we always tell people to look for the sign near the entrance.
