Saint Francis Junior College

Saint Francis Junior College is right here in Laxman Nagar. It's on Kurar Village Road, just across from the Mahalakshmi Market and Maninagar Cross Road. Most people know us because we're right opposite the Khomadhi Dukhan in Malad East. Dealing with the Mumbai traffic and the crowds every morning is just part of how we start the day here. It’s a busy spot, but we’ve been here a while. We have students coming in from all over the neighborhood for their junior college years. It’s not fancy, just a regular place where classes happen and kids try to get through their exams. The building gets a bit noisy because of the market nearby, but you get used to it. We keep the office open during the usual hours, and there's always someone around to answer questions if a parent walks in. Life in Mumbai 400097 is fast, so we just try to keep things moving. We don't have a big fancy campus, just these rooms where we do the work. The hallways are narrow and it gets hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is. We focus on the lessons and making sure the registers are updated. Sometimes the power goes out or the street outside gets blocked, but the teachers just keep going. It’s a local place for local families. We aren't trying to be anything other than a school for the kids around here. It is what it is.
