Saikrupa Plate Processors

We are based on the first floor of Mapla House, which is 14/16 in the Fort area. Fort is one of those places where every building has a history, and Mapla House is no different. It has high ceilings and those old-fashioned windows. Saikrupa Plate Processors has been running out of this space for quite some time. The main room is filled with the smell of ink and metal. It’s a bit of a noisy environment when the machines are running, but that’s the sound of work getting done. We have plates stacked up in various stages of being processed. It’s a messy job, and our hands are usually stained by the time we leave for the day. Getting up to the first floor is a bit of a workout, but the view of the street below is interesting. There are always people rushing around in Fort, and the energy is quite high. We don't have a modern lounge or anything like that. It’s an industrial space meant for heavy work. Sometimes the lights flicker when we turn on the bigger equipment. We’ve learned how to fix things ourselves when they break down. It’s a very practical way of living. We just focus on the orders we have and try to get them finished on time. It’s been our routine for years, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon in this old building.
