Sai Transport Corporation

We started Sai Transport Corporation out of room 102 in the Gurukurpa Society. If you know Andheri West, you probably know where Nc Killer Road is, right across from the Irla Masjid. It is a bit of a tight space for an office, but it works well enough for what we do every day. We spend the majority of our time on the phone or looking at delivery schedules on the desk. The area outside is always crowded, especially with the masjid right there, so there is always a lot of energy and noise. We move goods around for people, and it is nothing too complicated. Some days are definitely slower than others, but usually, there is a pile of papers that needs sorting through. We do not have a website or any big advertisements. Most people just find us because they live nearby or they heard about us from a friend. Working in this area means we see the same faces every day. My brother and I take turns managing the bookings. It can get a bit stressful when the traffic in Andheri gets backed up, because then everything else starts to slow down too. We just try to keep the trucks moving on time as much as we can. Gurukurpa Society is a quiet enough place once you actually get inside. It is a small operation, just a regular local business doing transport work for whoever needs it.
