Sai Copy Centre

Sai Copy Centre is located at Shop Number 24 on New Prabhadevi Road. We are right on the Lower Parel Main Road, which is a very busy part of the city. You might know us because we are quite close to the Samna Press. Our shop is small but we stay very busy throughout the day. The photocopy machines are almost always running, which makes the air in the shop feel warm and smell like toner. We get all sorts of people coming in, from students needing a few pages copied to office workers with large stacks of documents. We don't have a lot of room for people to wait, so it often gets a bit crowded near the counter. We just try to work as fast as we can to keep the line moving. The noise from the main road is constant, with buses and cars honking all the time, but we don't even notice it anymore. We spend a lot of our time clearing paper jams or refilling the paper trays. It is a simple job, but it keeps us on our toes. We’ve been here for years and have seen the buildings around us get taller and taller. Despite all the changes in Lower Parel, we just keep our heads down and keep the copies coming for whoever walks through the door. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on, which is all we really want.
