Our place is tucked away in the Sunder Baug Estate, just off the Sion Trombay Road in Chembur. It’s a bit of an industrial corner, so it’s always got that smell of grease and metal in the air. We’ve been operating here for a long time, and the building has seen better days, but it works for what we need. We do industrial work, which means a lot of hands-on stuff and making sure the machines are behaving. It’s not a clean-shirt kind of job. Most of us go home with a bit of dirt on our hands, but that’s fine. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sales team. People usually find us because we’ve been in the same spot for years. The traffic on Sion Trombay Road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so most of us try to get in early. Once we’re inside, we just focus on the tasks for the day. It’s a lot of repetition, but you have to be careful with the equipment. We don’t talk much about goals or visions; we just talk about what needs to be fixed or moved next. It’s a plain and simple operation. We like the grit of Chembur and the fact that we’re just another shop doing our part in the estate. We don't bother with much else beyond getting the daily production done correctly before we lock up the gate.
