Safwan Perfumes

Safwan Perfumes is located at 105 Mohammed Ali Road, which is one of the busiest streets you’ll ever find. There’s always noise from the bikes and the honking, but we’re used to it by now. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got shelves lining every wall, packed with various oils and bottles we’ve collected over the years. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter or out front talking to the neighbors. We don’t have any fancy marketing teams or polished brochures. Most people find us because they were walking by or someone told them to stop in. The floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic, and the lighting is a little dim, but it gives the place a bit of character. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock and wiping down the glass counters. During the holidays, it gets incredibly packed in here, and we’re all working late into the night to keep up. It can be exhausting, but it’s what we do. We don't try to pretend to be a high-end boutique; we’re just a local spot on a famous road doing our best to provide what people are looking for. It’s a simple life, really, just selling scents and keeping the books balanced at the end of every month. The overhead fan wobbles a bit when it’s on high.
