We are down at Dana Bunder, in the Veena Chambers building. Our office is on the 4th floor, room 407. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it smells like the sea and old warehouses. It’s a lot of trucks and heavy lifting around here. At Safe Speed Carriers Pvt Ltd, we spend our days dealing with transport schedules and talking to drivers who are usually tired from long trips. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some old wooden desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. There’s always a stack of delivery notes and receipts that need sorting. We don't really have a fancy reception area. If someone comes in, they just grab a stool. The elevator in the building is a bit moody, so sometimes we just take the stairs, which is quite a climb to the 4th floor. We’ve been operating from this spot for years. It’s a bit dusty because of all the movement outside, but it feels like the heart of the trading area. Most of the time, we’re just making sure things get from one point to another without getting lost. It’s not a complicated business, just a lot of coordination and phone calls. We know the other folks in the building well, it’s like a little community of transport people. It’s just a normal job in a busy part of the city, keeping everything moving along as best as we can.
