Saeeda Roadlines

We operate Saeeda Roadlines out of Masjid Bunder West. Our office is on Issaji Street, at Plot No 22. Being so close to the Masjid Railway Station means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside. This part of Mumbai never really stops, and neither do the trucks. We handle a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to moving goods across the roads. It’s a lot of coordination, talking to drivers, and making sure the loads are ready to go. The streets here are narrow, so getting things in and out can be a real struggle sometimes. We’ve seen all sorts of weather and traffic jams that hold things up. That’s just the nature of the transport business. We’re not a huge corporation with a fancy lobby. Our space is practical. It's where we keep the logs and talk to the guys. Most of the time, we’re just busy checking where a certain truck is or when the next shipment will arrive. It can get dusty and loud, but we like being in the thick of it near the station. The smell of spices and old wood is always around here. My desk is covered in old receipts and logbooks that I really should organize better. We’ve seen the railway station get renovated and the crowds just keep growing every year. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the goods moved. Every day brings different problems to solve.
