Our place is at 18, Niraj Ind. Est., right on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. If you know that area, you know how the traffic can get. It's always moving and always loud. We’ve been at this address for several years. Saawal Exim Pvt. Ltd isn't some giant firm with glass walls. We work out of a standard industrial unit. It’s functional and that’s what we need. Inside, there are boxes everywhere and the sound of tape dispensers is pretty constant. We deal with a lot of shipping and paperwork. Some days are smoother than others. When a big shipment is due, it’s all hands on deck. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a receptionist at the front. You just walk in and someone will help you out. The air conditioning in the back office struggles sometimes during the peak of summer, so we keep the windows open when we can. Andheri East is a tough place to navigate, but we like being in the middle of all the action. Most of our neighbors in Niraj Industrial Estate are doing similar things. We help each other out with borrowing tools or moving heavy stuff now and then. It’s a tight-knit community of workers. We don't have a big website with lots of photos. We just stay focused on getting the orders out on time every single day. It keeps us busy from morning until night. It is a lot of work but we enjoy it.
