Our office is located at 31 Bharat Udyog Nagar, right on Babasaheb Kotkar Marg in Goregaon East. It's a busy part of Mumbai, and there is always something going on outside our door. We handle a lot of chemical trading from this spot. The space is a bit cramped with all the files and samples we keep around, but it works for what we do. Dealing with chemicals means a lot of checking labels and making sure the transport is handled right. We spend a good chunk of the day on the phone with suppliers or trying to figure out the best way to get a shipment across the city. The traffic in Goregaon can be a real headache, especially when we are waiting for a delivery to arrive at the gate. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of floors, just a dedicated group of people working out of this industrial pocket. Sometimes the air smells a bit like the warehouse next door, and the noise from the street never really stops. We don’t have fancy rugs or expensive art on the walls, just calendars and maybe a few photos of our families. It is a practical place where we focus on getting the trade done. Most of the people around here know us by now because we’ve been in this building for a while. It’s just how we make our living, one transaction at a time.
