You can find S S Salkar & Company over in Andheri East. We are located on the first floor of Building No 7, which is part of the Krishna Height complex in the Afra area. Specifically, we are on Balwar Ali, right across from the Sunrose View Apartment. It is a bit of a mouthful to explain the address to people, but once you are in the neighborhood, it is not too hard to find. The building is a typical busy Andheri structure, with people constantly moving up and down the stairs. Our office is a straightforward space where we handle all our daily tasks. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them, and a lot of notebooks. It is not a corporate-style office with glass walls or anything like that. It feels more like a workshop where we get things done. The traffic on the street outside can be quite loud, but we have gotten used to the constant honking and the sound of engines. We spend most of our day on the phone or writing things down. Sometimes we have visitors, and we offer them a chair and maybe some water. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we know the rhythms of the building and the neighbors across the way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work.
