S S Auto Glass is up on the 9th floor, specifically at Penthouse 9TH Floor 18 Sagar Darshan, Juhu Versova. It’s a bit unusual for an auto glass place to be that high up, we know. Most people expect us to be on the ground floor with a big garage door. But this is where we are. Dealing with glass can be a messy business, and carrying things up can be a challenge sometimes if the elevator is acting up. We spend a lot of our time looking at cracks and chips and figuring out if they can be fixed or if the whole thing needs to go. The view from Sagar Darshan is actually quite nice, though we don't spend much time looking at it. Juhu Versova is a busy area, so getting here can take a bit of time depending on the hour. We have stacks of glass leaning against the walls and tools scattered around our workspace. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever visit, but it’s a workspace where real things happen. We don't have a dedicated salesperson or a fancy waiting room. Usually, you just talk to whoever isn't holding a heavy pane of glass at that moment. We’ve been doing this for years, so we’ve seen every kind of break you can imagine. We just get on with it. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually a bit dirty, but that’s just how it goes here.
