S R Engineer Works

Our shop, S R Engineer Works, is located in Goregaon East. We are right on the Hosur Main Road, which is very close to the Western Express Highway. Being so close to the highway means there is always a lot of traffic and noise, but it makes it easy for people to find us. We do a lot of engineering work here, mostly mechanical stuff and repairs. It’s a dusty place with lots of metal scraps and tools lying around. I spend most of my day in overalls, working on whatever project came in that morning. Sometimes it's a small part that needs fixing, other times it’s something bigger that takes a few days. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons since we don't have much besides some old fans blowing the hot air around. We don't have a front desk or a waiting room, just the workshop floor where all the work happens. People just walk in from the street and ask if we can help them with a weld or a cut. We have a few regular guys who work here, and we just get on with it. It’s not a corporate setup, just a local engineering place where things get made and fixed. The road outside is always torn up or busy, but we've been here long enough that it doesn't bother us. It’s just honest work with steel and machines. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down until the job is done.
