S P Engineering

We have our workshop, S P Engineering, located over in Pezari. If you are familiar with the area, we are near the Poynad post office in the Alibaug taluka. Raigad is a beautiful district, but running a business here means dealing with some unique challenges. We have been here for a good number of years now. It is a local operation through and through. We don't have a big corporate office in a city. Instead, we work out of this space where the air is a bit fresher, even if the work is just as hard. Most of the people who come to us are from the surrounding villages. They know us by name, and we know them. It is the kind of place where you stop to have a chat before you even start talking about the job. Our tools are well-used and the floor always has a bit of metal shavings or dust on it. We don't try to keep it looking like a showroom. It is a place for engineering and fixing things, so it looks like a place where work actually gets done. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get messy during the monsoon, but we just carry on. We aren't looking to become a giant company. We just want to keep the machines running and help out the folks around Alibaug. It is a steady life and we wouldn't have it any other way.
