S L Raheja Hospital

I've been working at S L Raheja Hospital for a while now, and it’s just one of those places that feels like it’s always been here in Mahim West. The building is situated right in the heart of Mumbai, so there’s never a quiet moment on the street outside. In the mornings, you can see the local vendors setting up their stalls while we're heading into the lobby for our shifts. It’s a very local vibe, honestly. People from all over Mahim come through these doors, and you start to recognize the regulars after a bit. The halls are usually a bit crowded, and sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Mumbai humidity, but we just keep at it. It’s not like those fancy, polished hospitals you see in magazines. We’ve got some scuff marks on the walls and the elevators are a bit slow, but it’s a real place where actual work gets done every day. The staff mostly lives around here, so we talk about the local trains and the traffic on the way in. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We don’t use a lot of fancy words or have big meetings about our goals. We just check the charts, see the patients, and try to keep things moving as best as we can. It’s just how things are at S L Raheja Hospital. It’s a busy, sometimes loud, but very honest place to spend your day.
