You can find us over at Opera House on Charni Road, specifically in rooms 528 and 529. If you know the area, you know it’s one of those classic old parts of Mumbai where everything feels a bit packed together. The building has that old-school charm, and we’ve been here long enough that the walls feel familiar. It’s a busy spot, with the station nearby and all the diamond traders and businesses around. Our office isn’t anything fancy, just a functional space where we handle our daily work and paperwork. There’s always the sound of traffic and people outside, which is just part of being in this neighborhood. We have a lot of old files and desks that have seen better days, but they serve their purpose. It’s a bit of a walk up if the lift is busy, but we don’t mind. Being at Charni Road means we are right in the heart of things. We see the same faces every day, the chai wallahs and the other office workers in the building. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We don’t go for the modern, polished look that new offices have. We prefer the practical, lived-in feel of our current setup. It’s where we feel most comfortable doing our business, surrounded by the history of the Opera House area. We just come in, do our jobs, and head home like everyone else around here. It isn’t exciting but it’s our life and we’re content with it.
