S. A. Timber Mart

You can find S. A. Timber Mart down at 91/5 Lakdi Bunder in the Darukhana area of Mazagoan. It’s a rugged part of town near the docks where there’s a lot of wood and metal moving around. We’ve been dealing with timber for a long time now. The yard is usually full of different types of wood stacked high. It’s dusty work and you definitely need good boots to walk around here. We spend our time measuring logs, cutting planks, and helping people load up their trucks. There is always the sound of saws or cranes in the background. It’s not a place for people who mind getting their hands dirty. We aren’t interested in fancy showrooms or polished floors. Our focus is just on the wood we have in stock and getting it to the carpenters or builders who need it. The weather can make things tough sometimes, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy. But we stay open and keep working. We know the history of this area well, as it’s always been a hub for this kind of trade. We don’t do much in the way of promotion. Most people know we are here because they’ve been buying from us for years. It’s just how the timber business works. We keep it simple, cut the wood to size, and move on to the next pile.
