Rustomjee Cambridge International School

Our school, Rustomjee Cambridge International School, is tucked away in Dahisar West. We are located at Rustomjee Acres on Rustom Irani Marg. It’s a pretty busy part of the suburb, especially when the school day starts. People living around here are used to the noise by now. We see the same faces every day walking their dogs or going to the market nearby. The building itself is quite sturdy and has been here for some time. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are okay and the fans are working. It gets hot in Mumbai, so that’s a big job. The halls are usually full of students moving between classes. They’re always in a hurry. You’ll find us at the gate most mornings helping people find where they need to go. There’s a lot of paperwork and basic maintenance that goes into a place like this. We don’t really think about it much, we just do it. The local shops know us well because we’re always popping out for supplies. Living and working around Rustom Irani Marg means you get used to the pace of Dahisar. It’s not like the city center, but it’s definitely not quiet. We like being part of the local scene here. It feels like a small community inside the bigger city. At the end of the day, when the last bell rings, the street gets busy for a bit and then it finally settles down after everyone goes home.
