Rushikesh Transport Services operates out of Shiv Kripa Chawl No 5. We are in Room No Ghatkopar West H O, which is right by Santhusapete on Arcot Srinivasachar Street Cross. It’s a busy corner of the world, and there is always some kind of noise coming from the street. Our space isn't much to look at, just a room where we keep the logs and the keys. It’s a bit cramped, especially when more than two people are inside at once. We spend a lot of our time outside anyway, dealing with the trucks or talking to drivers. The area around Arcot Srinivasachar Street is always moving, and we are just one part of that machine. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but that’s transport for you. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big corporate office. Our desks are old, and the chairs squeak, but they do the job just fine. People know where to find us if they need something moved. We’ve been in this chawl for a while, and the people living around us are like family. We see the same faces every morning when we start up. It isn’t about being the biggest company; it’s just about being there when the phone rings or someone knocks on the door. We keep it simple and just focus on the daily tasks at hand. It’s a lot of paper and phone calls.
