Rupande Food Product

Rupande Food Product is located right in Shivaji Nagar, on N. M. Joshi Marg in Lower Parel East. Being in Lower Parel means we are surrounded by all the old chawls and the new high-rises, which is a strange mix. Our place at number 52 is where we do all our food preparation and packing. It’s a tight space, like most things in this part of Mumbai, but we make it work. Every morning starts early with the arrival of ingredients, and the whole place smells like whatever we are making that day. It can get pretty hectic when we have a big order to get out, and everyone has to pitch in to get the packing done on time. The street outside is always crowded with people walking to the station, so there’s a lot of noise coming in through the windows. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time, and we know the local vendors and the people who live upstairs. It’s not a fancy factory by any means. It’s just a practical kitchen and packing area where we try to stay organized despite the limited room. We don’t really bother with big labels or fancy talk. We just want to make sure the food is decent and that it goes out fresh to whoever is buying it. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and making sure the boxes are labeled correctly before the delivery guy arrives.
