Ruby Electronics

Ruby Electronics is a small shop located at number 62 in Sion. We have been here for a good while, fixing televisions and selling small electronic components to people in the neighborhood. The front window is usually full of old sets and some newer ones that are waiting to be picked up. Inside, there are wires and soldering irons all over the workbench because there is always something that needs fixing. We aren't a big retail chain, just a local spot where you can bring your remote if it stops working or buy a new antenna. The light inside is a bit dim, and it smells like warm plastic and solder most of the time. We don't have a lot of space for customers to sit, so they usually just stand by the counter while we take a look at their gadgets. Sometimes it takes a few days to get a part delivered from the city, but we try to be honest about the timing. We have seen a lot of changes in technology over the years, from big heavy TVs to the flat ones they have now. It’s mostly just one or two of us working here, so if we are busy with a repair, you might have to wait a minute. We don't do any big advertising, just the name on the board above the door and word of mouth from people around Sion. We have been at this address for a long time now and like the quiet Sion neighborhood.
