Rotten Apple

Linking Road in Bandra West is a place that never really sleeps. Our shop, Rotten Apple, is located at F 16, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside. We chose the name because it was different, not for any big marketing reason. People often ask us about it, and we just tell them it sounded okay at the time. The shop is usually full of stuff. We have cables, cases, and parts for all sorts of devices piled up. It’s a lot of work to keep it organized, and sometimes we fail at that. People come in from the street, usually in a hurry because they’re shopping or headed to work. They need a charger or a screen replaced quickly. We do what we can with the space we have. The heat in the summer can be quite something, and our small fan doesn't always do the trick. We’ve been at this spot for several years now. We’ve seen shops next to us open and close, but we’ve managed to stay put. It’s a good location if you like seeing different people every day. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just open up, do the repairs, and talk to whoever walks through the door. It’s a bit messy and loud, but it’s our place. Bandra has a specific energy, and we are just a small part of it. We try to be useful to the people around here.
