Roop Kala Ladies Beauty Parlour

Roop Kala is tucked away inside the Rasul Building over here in Mahalaxmi. We are on the first floor, specifically Room 24, so you have to walk up a bit. It’s an old building, and you know how things are around Jacob Circle and K K Marg. There is always noise from the street and people moving about. We’ve been here for quite some time now just doing basic hair work and facials for the women who live around this part of Mumbai. It’s not a fancy place with big signs, but people find us anyway. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming for years. We just have a few chairs and mirrors set up. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Saturdays when everyone wants their eyebrows done at the same time. We don't have a big staff, just us working here every day. It’s honest work and we stay busy enough to keep the lights on. The room is small but it stays cool enough with the fan going. If you are looking for us, just ask someone near the Rasul Building entrance, they usually know where Room 24 is. We don't really do the whole modern spa thing, it's just a regular ladies parlour where you can sit and talk while we work. It's a simple life here in Mahalaxmi, and we like it that way.
