Ronak Dresses

You’ll find us on the first floor of the Jogani Industrial Estate, right on Tulsi Pipe Road in Dadar (Wr). It’s a very active area, especially with the trains running nearby all the time. Our space is mostly taken up by sewing machines, rolls of fabric, and half-finished dresses waiting for their buttons. It’s a bit noisy with the machines running all day, but we’re used to the sound by now. We focus on making clothes that people can actually wear every day without any fuss. There’s no big design studio here; just a bunch of us working at tables and making sure the stitching is straight and the fit is right. The floors are usually covered in bits of thread and fabric scraps, no matter how much we sweep up at the end of the day. We’ve been in Dadar for quite a while, and we like the energy of the place. It’s a lot of work to keep up with the orders, and sometimes we’re here late trying to finish a batch for a customer. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. Most of our customers come to us because they know we do honest work. Sometimes the fabric we get isn’t exactly the right shade, or a machine breaks down, but we just figure it out and keep moving. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We just want to make sure the work is steady.
