Our printing shop is tucked away at number 30 in Mugbhat Lane. It’s a busy little street in Bhuleshwar. If you find Madan Mas, you are pretty much there. We have been doing this for a while. The machines are loud and the smell of ink is everywhere, but we don't mind it. It’s what we know. We do all sorts of small jobs for people in the neighborhood. Business cards, some forms, and whatever else people need printed out. It’s a cramped space because the machines take up a lot of room. Sometimes the paper stacks get a bit high and we have to move them around to find a chair. We aren't a huge factory. It’s just a local shop near Magdewadi Fata. Most of our customers are folks who have been coming to us for years. We don't do anything fancy with our own marketing because we are too busy with the work. My hands are usually stained with some kind of ink by the end of the day. It’s honest work. We try to get things done when we say we will, though sometimes a machine breaks down and slows us down. That’s just part of the job. We keep going though. It’s a tight-knit area here and we like being part of it. We often share a snack from the vendor outside while waiting for a job to finish. It's a bit noisy, but we like the rhythm of the machines. We just focus on the ink and the paper. It stays busy.
