Rohit Anand Salon

Rohit Anand Salon is tucked into Shop No 11 at Runwal Grand. That is on 18th Road over in Chembur East. It’s a pretty easy spot to find because we are right opposite Gandhi Maidan. You can often hear kids playing or people practicing sports across the street while we are working. Chembur has a different feel than the rest of Mumbai, a bit more settled in some parts. Runwal Grand is one of those newer buildings around here, and being in shop 11 means we’re right on the ground level. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone writing fancy slogans for us. It’s just Rohit and the rest of the guys doing hair and keeping things tidy. The shop isn't massive, but it fits what we need. We get a lot of locals who just walk over from the nearby apartment blocks. Sometimes the rain gets a bit heavy and the road outside gets some puddles, but that’s just Chembur in the monsoon. We usually have some music playing in the background to keep the energy up. It’s a straightforward hair salon. No unnecessary stuff, just chairs, mirrors, and the tools we use every day. Being opposite the maidan is nice because there’s a bit of open space, which is rare to find around here. We’ve been here long enough that most of the shopkeepers on 18th Road know us by name now. It’s just a normal business doing its thing every day.
