Roechling Engineering Plastics (India)

Our office is located at 201 in the A Wing of the Leo building on 24th Road. This part of Khar West is usually quite lively, with plenty of small shops and cafes around. We handle engineering plastics from here. It’s mostly an office setup, so you won't see big machines running, but we do have plenty of samples sitting on the shelves. The space is a bit tight with all the files and folders we keep, but it feels like home to us. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails. The commute can be a bit of a headache during monsoon season when the roads get flooded, but we manage to get in. It’s a professional environment but without all the stiff corporate rules. We know each other's families and often share lunch in the small pantry. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the tops of some trees. We handle a lot of technical specifications, so it requires a bit of focus and quiet. Sometimes the street noise from 24th Road drifts up, but we’re used to it by now. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't out to change the world; we just want to make sure the orders for the plastics go out correctly and on time. It’s just us doing our jobs in a nice part of Mumbai. Sometimes we grab a tea from the stall downstairs during the afternoon.
