Roadways India Limited'

Roadways India Limited' is situated on the second floor of Ashok Chambers, which is at 32/34 Devji Ratansi Marg. We are right in the middle of Masjid Bunder, near the Radhakrishna Hotel. If you know this area, you know it’s the heart of the wholesale market and transport hub, so there is always a lot of movement. Being on the second floor helps us get away from some of the street noise, but you can still hear the horns and the shouting from the loaders below. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s mostly just desks covered in logbooks, transit slips, and phones that never seem to stop ringing. We spend our days coordinating where trucks are and when they might arrive. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don’t go as planned because of traffic or weather. The building itself, Ashok Chambers, is an older structure near Hasin Park. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall knows our order by heart. It’s a gritty, busy environment, but that’s the nature of the transport business in Mumbai. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy lobby. It’s just us working through the piles of paperwork to keep things moving. It gets pretty cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work somehow. It’s just a regular office doing regular transport work.
